The Maxillary Skeletal expansion device is put inside your upper palate with screws for skeletal transverse expansion of the maxilla. This ensures more room in your mouth for the tongue and breathes efficiently.
Not all MSE appliance is of the same size. The expansion screws are available in 12mm, 10mm and 8 mm stainless steel. The appliance uses four titanium alloy TADs for proper fixation & a wrench for activation.
